The Stories We Carry (And the Ones We’re Still Trying to Solve)

I’ve always believed that some stories don’t really end—they just go quiet for a while.
Maybe that’s why I’m here.
This blog isn’t just about mystery. Or romance. Or even writing, really. It’s about the moments that linger—the unanswered questions, the almost-confessions, the things we wish we’d said differently.
I’ve spent a long time drawn to stories where something is just beneath the surface. A small town with a past. A relationship that never fully unraveled. A truth that waits patiently until someone is brave enough to look for it.
And maybe, if I’m honest, I’ve always been a little more interested in the why than the what.
Why people leave. Why they come back. Why some connections refuse to fade, no matter how much time passes.
Here, I’ll be sharing pieces of that curiosity—short reflections, story ideas, maybe even fragments of something bigger.
Some posts might feel like fiction. Some might feel a little too real.
That’s kind of the point.
If you like stories that hold onto you a little longer than expected, you’ll probably feel at home here.
💛 Melissa
